Our Funding Partners

MCIE offers its services on a fee basis and also receives public funding to promote inclusive practices. We may receive special project grants for Professional Development from federal, state, and local educational agencies, as well as contracts for services with local schools systems. We may also receive grants to serve families who cannot afford to obtain MCIE services. We appreciate the support that we have received from the Weinberg Foundation for our family legal services. We are particularly thankful to these long-time funding partners:

University of Kansas, SWIFT Center
Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)

Our grants, contracts, and fees do not cover the costs of administrative management for our projects, and only cover 50% of the costs for our services to families who live in poverty.

In order to continue operating, we are fortunate to receive charitable contributions from individuals and businesses that support our work. We are extremely grateful for our charitable donors, whose support for our vision means the world to us. The list below represents donations received during our 2013 fiscal year.
